Festivals, Rest Homes and Fetes
The pupils represent the school at numerous events and enjoy
the opportunity to share their love of performance whilst
bringing joy to a wide range of audiences. If you wish the

Shows and Theatre
The theatre group stages 3 shows each year, allowing
students to learn the crafts of acting, singing, dancing, stage
management, lighting, costumes, make up and prop making. The
course of 10 lessons culminates in a full production enabling the
performers to gain valuable experience and develop in confidence.

| MORE ABOUT US BUSYBODIES STAGE SCHOOL IS A HIGHLY RESPECTED AND WELL KNOWN THEATRE SCHOOL. The school was opened in 1984 by Miss Nickie the Principal. Working as the sole teacher Miss Nickie established an excellent reputation with examining boards and The All England Festivals as her pupils gained outstanding results. In the early 1990s Miss Nickie married and had a daughter. At this point the school began expanding and the decision was made to have new members of staff. Some of the original students from 1986 are now fully qualified teachers, have their own schools and have come back to Busybodies to teach. The school also benefits from the wide range of personal and professional friends of Miss Nickie, working in the West End, who are examiners and television actors. These colleagues are often found teaching in our workshops and classes. |
